What is Guided Meditation?

Guided Meditation is a form of sound healing in which you meditate to voiced instruction in a session. Meditation can involve chanting, repeating mantras, prayers, or positive affirmation. Sound therapy with guided meditation is advised for individuals who would like to overcome certain personal issues like addiction or simply work on self improvement. Also to connect with inner self for the purpose to understand one’s life path, destiny.

What Sound Therapy Session looks like?

Depending on the practitioner and the goal, sessions vary widely in presented form. But most of the time begin with simple breathing exercises, which help slow the mind and shift the focus. Participants sit or lie down in a comfortable position, sometimes with an eye mask or blanket. Often, bowls are placed on the body and around it and as well the head. Other experiences could be more active, and may include guided meditation and visualization especially when the goal of session is to overcome trauma or addiction. Each individual session can last anywhere from 1hr to 1 and 20 minutes. Group Sound Therapy can last even up to two hours.
